Jangan salah artikan ramadan.

Menjelang ramadan, aku sering dapet broadcast message melalui ponsel tentang bagaimana menamatkan Al Quran 30 Juz selama 30 hari. Bagus sih, karena membaca Al Quran di bulan puasa mendapatkan pahala yang lebih dibandingkan dengan bulan bulan yang lain apalagi mengkhatamkannya, tetapi aku berpikir betapa egoisnya kita yang hanya mau membaca Al Quran di bulan ramadan saja. Jujur aja, selain bulan puasa, aku juga tidak begitu rutin membaca Al Quran, tetapi di bulan ramadan malah mau mengkhatamkan seolah balas dendam terhadap 11 bulan yang lain. Bukankah lebih baik jika kita rutin membaca Al Quran? Bukan hanya di bulan suci ramadan aja. Jika kita rutin, maka pada bulan puasa kita bisa belajar sedikit demi sedikit mengenai terjemahan Al Quran. Sempatkan diri untuk membaca terjemahan ayat ayat Al Quran juga, ini membuat kita merinding!!! Atau sempatkan diri selain membaca surat surat seperti Al Waqiah, Al Mulk, Al Kahfi, dst. sehari hari.

Selain itu, banyak sekali orang yang menganggap bahwa solat 5 waktu di bulan puasa harus dijaga. Nah lo, jadi selain bulan puasa? Nggak solat gitu? Yang bener adalah solat 5 waktu senantiasa harus dijaga kapan pun itu. Di bulan ramadan, kita bisa melipat gandakan pahala dengan solat 5 waktu di awal waktu. Kalau biasanya di 11 bulan yang lain solatnya selalu mepet mepet waktunya, di bulan ramadan, begitu mendengar adzan langsung solat. Atau kalau biasanya cuma solat wajibnya aja, ini ditambahin dengan solat sunnat nya.

Selanjutnya, ketika di bulan ramadan, kita banyakkk banget mengatur jadwal berbuka puasa bersama atau sahur on the road (SOTR). Hal yang sangat positif karena sekalian berbuka bersama, sekalian reunian, sekalian mempererat tali silaturahmi. Sahur on the road (SOTR) juga membuat kita berbagi dengan orang orang yang kurang mampu dengan kita. Hal yang membuat aku heran adalah, dengan adanya jadwal buka bersama atau sahur on the road malah membuat sebagian orang lalai akan solatnya (Magrib atau Subuh). Mikirnya, karena buka bersama jadi nggak perlu menunaikan maghrib ya? Atau karena udah berbuat kebaikan di sahur on the road (SOTR) jadi solat subuhnya bisa ditinggalin? Ini aku nggak ngerti banget deh. Ya solat wajib harus dilaksanakn juga kan?

Sebenarnya, bulan puasa ini adalah bulan bonus bagi kita. Dimana kita biasa melipatgandakan pahala dari yang wajib kita kerjakan sampai yang sunnah. Allah double kan pahalanya. Apalagi kakau sedekah.  Nggak di bulan ramadan aja, Allah ngeganti, apalagi di bulan puasa, double triple digantinya. Masha Allah.

Dari tulisan ini, aku sama sekali nggak mau menyinggung siapapun. Niat dari menulis ini adalah supaya kita semua sadar bahwa kita terkadang 'terperangkap' oleh kata RAMADAN. Kalau udah mendengar kata ramadan, teringatnya akan baju baru untuk hari raya, asmara subuh, jadwal buka bersama, sahur bersama, es buah, harus solat, nggak boleh bohong, nggak boleh kumur-kumur, nggak boleh ini dan itu. Sebaiknya jika kita mendengar kata RAMADAN, kita teringat akan, amal solat kita, amal sedekah kita, zakat yang harus dikeluarkan (bagi yang mampu), solat tarawih, ke mesjid, dan harus ada niat untuk TINGKATKAN AMAL.

Di minggu minggu terakhir ramadan ini, yuk mari sama sama evaluasi diri.

Alhamdulillah. Semakin nyaman memakai contact lense

Aku udah pakai contact lense sekitar 3 tahun lebih dan sering banget terkena iritasi dan mata merah. Biasanya mata merah karena mata aku capek banget dan aku paksain pakai contact lense (rasanya nggak nyaman banget). Nah, kalau iritasi biasanya karena aku nggak membersihkan contact lense aku dengan maksimal.
Yang paling sering aku alami sih mata merah. Mata aku nggak tahan banget kalau pakai contact lense lebih dari 8 jam. Kalau udah gini, aku harus selang seling pakai kacamata dan contact lense. Nyebelin banget!!!! Kalau di rumah dan sekedar keluar rumah sebentar aja sih nggak masalah tapi nggak betah banget pakai kacamata kalau lagi kerja, kuliah, jalan-jalan atau menghadiri event.
Lain orang lain cerita. Temen aku yang tahan banget pakai contact lense dari dia bangun sampai mau tidur malam dan tetap pakai contact lense walaupun dia hanya berada di rumah seharian. Lain lagi saudaraku, dia memakai contact lense dan nggak pernah dilepas dalam kurun waktu 2 minggu.Setelah 2 minggu, dia bakalan ganti contact lense yang baru dan di pakai untuk 2 minggu ke depan. Gilaaa kan? Tapi dia nggak ada masalah dengan matanya. Syukurlah!
Balik lagi ke ketidaknyamanan aku dalam memakai contact lense, sebulan yang lalu aku beli daily use contact lense merk Freshkon. Aku pernah dapat referensinya tahun 2011 dari temen aku yang kalau travelling selalu bawanya itu dan juga referensi dari penjaga optik di deket kampus aku.

Dan aku merasa lebih nyaman sih pakainya. Nggak ada mata merah lagi dan nggak ada repot harus bersihin contact lense lagi karena tinggal dibuang aja.
Satu kelemahannya ialah tidak ada berbagai macam warna yang bisa kita pilih. Yah, jadi mata kita nggak nampak eksotisnya. Hehe

Pilates

Recently, I read about pilates. Well, Pilates is a trending topic indeed. Because it is good to develop body strength. And actually, it has been used for dancers a long long time ago as their exercise. So guys, if the dancers did it, that means we know for sure that pilates can reinforce the muscles and increase flexibility. And if you have problem with your spinal, I will introduce you to your new friend, PILATES.

Well yeah, at first when I heard about pilates, I did not really interested on it. Slowly pilates is uproar- ing Indonesia. So, after yoga people are crazy about pilates. It goes same to me now. I have free time and I really want to join pilates class. Sadly, there is none at my hometown, Medan. Hiks. Yes, the dvd is everywhere and we can easily buy it but it is not the same without a trainer.

Someone know where is pilates studio around Medan?

This happened to me last week when I invited my friend and her Mom to try PH in Indonesia. They visited me at my hometown, Medan and I told them that PH in Malaysia and Indonesia was different. It's a wayyyyyyyyy delicious and yum yum in Indonesia :D
We were there at PH restaurant for dinner around 9 pm, we took our order and yeahhh.. we waited. From the menu, my friend and her Mom surprised already because there were so many choices. But then, here began the drama. One of the menu did not served at our table. I asked 3 times about it and they (the waiter and waitress) told me "I will check, I will check. I will check" . While there were checking, we finished all our food and felt like want to go home BUT these waiter and waitress kept us there and still checking I guess. Therefore, I asked for the bill and you know WhaTtt????? Yes, you know. It came in a minute only. I asked them, so where was the menu and the waitress told me "Hmm, actually, you did not order it, Miss. If you want, you need to wait for 7 minutes. So?"
WHAT T%6&7**&*@^*@). That time my emotion (anger) really showed up."So, you asked me to wait another 7 minutes? Why don't you tell me before, I asked you 3 times what??? I am sure that I ordered it and now you said it's not on the list?NONSENSE."
After payment, the waitress tried to do her job once again, Smile and  said "Thank you, please come again."
"No, I don't want to come here anymore."
And I did not care that she will tell about me to the other waitresses, I just DIDN'T CARE!


After I reached home, I know I had mistake; I can't control my emotion. As a defensive statement I just can say that time I was so upset and disappoint because I cannot show my friend how good PH was. It turned to be like that!

foodcourt for what?

I never ever ever understand with people who really like to study at noisy places. Last week I went to the mall and while waiting for my friend to come, I ate late lunch at food court. Then I was sitting right in front of a table with four chairs and there is a Chinese girl sat there. At first, I didn't really notice of what she was doing then I looked, looked, looked and looked, she was STUDY!! She wore ear plug (as I observed) and did some math calculation on her paper and on her laptop.
I am aware enough that many of my friends will go to Mc'D or something like kopitiam to study if exam is around the corner. That's still acceptable for me. But but hey, hello!!!! We are talking about food court at lunch time and on weekend! You can visualize how noisy that place was!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Well yeah, I mean I never do that before, go study at Mc'D either. I always stuck in my room or else in library. That's all!.
Btw, I took a pic of it. Hehe.

Nonetheless, I know that everyone has different style for study. So, enjoy you style! And have a great weekend everyone :)

Tadi pagi, begitu membuka mata, aku langsung lihat blackberry aku dan buka facebook. Well, kebanyakan dari status di facebook adalah keluhan tentang kehidupan mereka yang sangat berat; 'Kenapa harus bangun pagi?', 'Telat sahur.', 'Ditinggal pacar.', 'Bokek.' , dll.  Tapi ada satu status yang bener-bener menyiksa mata aku untuk melihatnya.

Well, nggak perlu aku kasi tau apa isi statusnya, tapi yang tulis status itu adalah temen aku sendiri. Temen deket kalau boleh dibilang.

Here's the thing. Kalau kita punya masalah, kita akan terus mencoba untuk menyikapinya. Tapi tiap orang berbeda. Kalau aku punya masalah, aku akan terusssssssssss tetap kepikiran walaupun aku udah mencoba untuk tidak memikirkan. Susahhhh rasanya buat aku untuk nggak kepikiran. Tapi, ada orang yang memang rileks dan santai banget. Orang kayak gini yang jarang banget stress. Nah, ada orang yang nampaknya nggak kepikiran padahal dalam hatinya udah berkecamuk rasa sedih, stress, atau perasaan yang lain.

Temen aku ini adalah orang yang nggak nampak stress nya. Tapi, dalam hatinya udah ada seratus ribu cara untuk melawan dan mencegah masalah itu. Dan dia lebih suka mencurahkan isi hatinya ke social networking daripada real friends dia (termasuk aku)

"Dengan masalah yang kita hadapi, diukur lah iman kita."

Teman, apapun masalah yang kita hadapi, PASTI ada jalan. Sesungguhnya di setiap kesusahan ada kemudahan. Allah hanya menguji kita sesuai kemampuan kita.

Jadi janganlah kita menzalimi diri kita sendiri. Janganlah sampai kita depresi, ingin mati, ingin keluarga yang lain, ingin ini dan akhirnya menyiksa diri kita sendiri. Ingatlah hidup ini hanya persinggahan ke kehidupan yang kekal di akhirat.

Jangan memendam perasaan dan kemudian mencurahkannya di social networking. Buat apa? Ingin simpati dari orang kah? Curahkan pada Tuhan semesta alam. Curahkan pada teman atau saudara yang paling kamu percaya. Curahkan pada lembaran-lembaran diary. Curahkan apada dinding yang kokoh tapi please teman, pikirkan seribu kali sebelum mencurahkannya di facebook, twitter atau social networking yang lain.

My vote goes to Blackberry

I still remember I've told my brother that I really wanna iPhone so bad (before I have blackberry). But now, I have my blackberry and I should admit, blackberry is a seriously smartphone. I don't have any idea, why on earth I wanna iPhone before? Haha. 

For information, I never have a thought to buy blackberry, but there was a situation called 'there comes a good thing'. My cousin bought her blackberry curve and the next day she got free blackberry bold from lucky draw. So, she wanted using bold and she sold to me the curve with the cheaper price.I kept telling my mom that I didn't want. If I have my blackberry, I want the white one, not the black one. At last, my mom gave up on my cousin's provocation and she bought it from her. And it's officially mine since  middle September.

Now, I enjoy it sooo much.

What comes next? I think I better get iPad than iPhone.

Years ago I used to buy this type of scented candle. 

But I do not really like this, because the scent will go away even I do not light it up

Then, me and my mom tried lampe berger

 It smells so good!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We love this sooo much!

The only problem is hard to find the oil at my hometown beside it is also expensive. Hence, we stop to use it. 

( But I notice, I can find the oil here in KL easily with cheaper price. Okay, I will try to find it after write this blog)

Ginger and Orange Blossom for my special room here in KL

I found it at Ace Hardware. Back to hometown, we ever tried Lavender and Vanilla Scent, Toffee Scent, and Apple Crispy Cinnamon Scent (I forgot the name). And I bought Ginger and Orange Blossom Scent for my room in KL. 

My mom really like Toffee Scent. For me, I like all =) but I'm addicted to Ginger and Orange Blossom Scent right now.  

Nevertheless, I hope I can find lampe berger essential oil for my mom because my mom prefer to use it.

Awww... Just a glance only and you will know how dangerous his eyes. Rite gals? When he was dating Carey Mulligan, I was so happy because they look awesome together. But they decided to quit after Wall Street Movie was appear in public. Hiks.

I started to love this guy when I watch Gossip Girl. Even there is a rumor that he is gay, SO WHATTTT?I don't care!!!! I still love my Chuck Bass. I also hang his photo beside Novak Djocovic on my bedroom's wall. What a confession!

Well well well. Even there are manyyyyyyy cute guys from Korea, I stick with LMH. I don't have spesific reason. He has the cute face, cute voice, cute nails :p. People said that he did the surgery to his nose. I don't care ah! It was his decision. Btw, I love the other Korean guys too but LMH is the icon for me.

 You see his smile? Cute rite? I love his voice. And he is soooo sweet. Compare to B.O.B, Florida, etc. I prefer Usher's look. HEHEHE. Am I wrong?
